● Serves as a Field Service Engineer in support of PM IS&A, and provides fielding, training, and field support. ● Presents DCGS-A capabilities, products, and complex technical issues to key leaders across Program Manager’s office and throughout the Army.● Identifies, resolves, and documents complex system engineering and technical issues such as the TGS Omnibus box issues that arose when applying the DCGS SP1 baseline to equipment in the field. Managed effort to test and deploy engineering fix to the field. ● Uses expertise to configure, operate, and sustain the hardware and software of the DCGS-A family of systems to include the Intelligence Fusion Server (IFS), Cross-Domain Solution Suite (CDSS), the Tactical Intelligence Ground Station (TGS), and the Intelligence Production Center – 2 (IPC-2). ● Conducts new software release installations and troubleshooting on the TGS and disseminates findings to multiple stakeholders in both technical and summarized formats.● Collaborates closely with PM DCGS-A training team, software developers, training developers, and system engineers across the country to ensure smooth operation of equipment during New Equipment Training (NET) events. ● Proficient in the configuration and administration of Red Hat Linux, Windows Server 2012, Windows Server 2019, Solaris, ESXi, and Windows 10 Enterprise and 11, as well as enterprise hardware such as CISCO and Dell network switches, NETAPP controllers, and Keyboard Video and Media (KVM) switches.● Provides technical support, reach back support, and other assistance to unit operators, system maintainers, and site FSEs. ● Led TGS FSE training for PM IS&A FSEs, PM IS&A Maintenance Trainers, LARs and CECOM TGS FSRs. ● Provide tailored intelligence architecture advice and recommendations to units to facilitate the best deployment and usage of their assets to meet mission requirements.
