I help individuals or companies in two somewhat different areas - photography and computer programming.

Director of Computer Services. Manager for all of Boyle’s computer related services including LAN/WAN systems, software and web development, and purchasing. As Director he has been responsible, during his tenure, for:• Planning, testing and implementation of the integration of a 300-employee, 6-office firm acquired by Boyle into the existing Boyle IT systems.• Planning, testing and installation of Office 2003 and AutoCAD 2007 packages by means of group policies.• Development, implementation and user training for remote access to WAN via virtual private network (VPN).• Development and implementation of web-based engineering standard detail CADD drawing ordering system.• Development and implementation of web-based corporate photo library database with multi-level searches. Users are able to order and receive selected photos via e-mail.• Author and editor for internal computer related newsletter.• Development of internal network, WAN and mail security procedures.• Planning, testing and implementation of upgrade from Windows NT 4.0 to Windows 2000 and subsequently to Windows 2003 on all corporate servers.• Planning, testing and implementation of upgrade from Exchange 5.5 to Exchange 2000 and subsequently to Exchange 2003 on all corporate mail servers.• Installation of the wide area network infrastructure and conversion of all offices from isolated individual domains to a single company-wide domain model.• Management and maintenance of the WAN.• Conversion of Boyle’s master specification system from a legacy system to a combination of web based delivery of the specification section files and Microsoft Word templates to assist in the editing and formatting of the sections.• Development of Earned Value Management (EVM) system (project budgeting, scheduling and progress tracking) template for use within Microsoft Excel.• Development of productivity enhancing templates for Microsoft Word 97 as well as Word 2000 and 2003.

Extensive engineering experience with specialized expertise in the planning and design of wastewater treatment and disposal facilities. He has extensive experience with PC-based engineering applications and possesses specialized expertise and knowledge of a full range of software applications, including computer modeling of pipeline systems and network analysis.

Resident engineer for the construction of a power plant wastewater treatment plant including disposal through an artificial wetlands. Project manager for plant startup, operations assistance, and preparation of curriculum for an O&M training program for a 24-mgd advanced wastewater treatment plant.

Project Administrative Coordinator for a $12M facilities plan for Detroit, MI. Design Engineer for sewers and sewer flow gaging station; realignment of sewers; 7-mile sludeg force main and sludge disposal site; upgrading and modernization of a secondary wastewater treatment plant. Preparation of O&M manuals for several primary and secondary wastewater treatment plants.

Staff position in QC Division in charge of concrete and road construction engineering testing with emphasis in non-destructive testing techniques. Responsibilities included co-ordination and superrvision of field and laboratory technicians.

Staff position in Plant Engineering Department. Responsibilities included management of plant expansion and modification construction projects from design to close-out phases.

Assisted Resident Engineer with various power distribution projects including surveying and drafting.

Assisted staff engineers in various aircraft maintenance engineering projects.
