I founded The Walsh Group, LLC in 2019 to advise on geopolitical global landscapes, assess the future investment value of innovative and pivotal breakthrough technologies, and assist manufacturing and technology companies maximize product market value, improve time to market, and move to scale within the defense requirements and acquisition processes. Previously, I spent over 35 years of progressively diverse and challenging military leadership responsibilities focused on Marine Corps and Navy investment strategies. My experience is in the aerospace, maritime, and land domains. In my last position, I was responsible for strategic planning and executing the reorganization of the Marine Corps to meet the new National Defense Strategy roles and missions. My responsibilities included integrating multiple warfighting functions and domains across the Marine Corps, the other military services, and the Department of Defense with a heavy emphasis on experimentation, demonstration, and rapid prototyping. Results oriented professional with wide ranging experience in planning and directing operations, requirements generation, and programming and budgeting at a senior level. These attributes, combined with diverse operational experience and a graduate level education, have yielded a proven record of performance across a broad spectrum of defense business operations.
