Hired by the global plant-based cosmetic company as a Programmer/Analyst, later promoted to Senior Programmer/Analyst and then to Technical Software Engineer. Initially hired for creation and maintenance of the existing AS400 BPCS system application programming requests. Directed the Y2K upgrade of the AS400 platform, including the BPCS system and all in-house programs; responsible for three programmers and the analysis, design, scheduling, testing and implementation of their modules. Fall of 2000 moved to the Windows Application division utilizing Microsoft Visual Basic and SQL client/server architecture. Designed and developed several window, server and intranet web applications utilizing Visual Studio and Microsoft SQL server. Responsible for creation of project documentation with regard to business change control process, per Sarbanes Oxley; this would include all unit testing plans, unit testing documentation, user acceptance testing plans and managing projects. Develop application technical specifications for project development and create documents in accordance with System Development Life Cycle (SDLC). Programed projects utilizing VB.Net, ASP.Net, Transact-SQL, SSIS, Access, IIS, VBA, Excel, SharePoint and InfoPath.
