Since qualifying as an electrician I have more than 20 years experience working as a maintenance electrician in the manufacturing industry, including but not limited to the cement and rubber industry. I have also worked for a contractor on residential/commercial and industrial projects for a number of years doing electrical work and during this time I had the opportunity to service, repair and install air- conditioning/refrigeration units as well. My experience also includes the building of custom changeover panels and the installation and maintenance of generators. My duties include but are not limited to maintenance and preventative maintenance on a large variety of equipment including:•forming and stamping presses• automatic turning machines• assembly machines• spring coiling machines•spot welders and automatic tapping machines•Plastic injection moulding machines as well as an effluent & plating plant amongst others. I am currently working as a field service and generator technician building units between 15kva and 250kva from the ground up. I also do sizing, fault finding and installations on our generators as well as programming of our deapsea and smartgen controllers. I am confident that my knowledge and experience in the electrical and generator field can be of benefit to your company and I am keen to expand my experiences and welcome the challenges that lay ahead. would like to thank you for your consideration for employment.
