After working for nearly three years as a Field Technician on a wind energy farm, I decided to pursue a master’s degree in Project Management with the goal of obtaining a position in the renewable energy field. Having invested both time and money in graduate school, I was determined to make the most of my experience. I became a graduate research and teaching assistant, as well as the founding president of the Management Analytics Student Society (MASS). I took advantage of opportunities for professional development by presenting papers at professional conferences, and even volunteered to be the note-taker for the Illinois State University Renewable Energy Board so I could meet and learn from industry leaders. My data analysis and project management skills, combined with my creativity and relationship-building skills make me a good candidate for a variety of positions. And as a rock-climbing enthusiast who has tackled some difficult climbs, you can count on me to problem-solve and persevere through challenges.
