Driller/Tour PusherNabors Industries Jun 2009 - Aug 2010I drilled on Nabors rig 797/358, which was the company’s biggest land rig. I completed experimental lateral wells and directional wells in Piceance Basin, CO and Cheyenne, WY. I supervised and ensured the safety of my drilling crew by ensuring that all crew members were trained and familiarized with the contractor, operators and industries safety expectations. I conducted detailed safety meetings and safety drills including: BOP drills, man down drills and rescue drills. -
DrillerPatterson Drilling Jan 2006 - Jun 2009Colorado, And UtahI drilled on Patterson rig 313 which was an Apex Walking rig fitted with a Varco top drive. I drilled numerous directional wells in some of the toughest conditions in Utah and Colorado, including two experimental high angle wells in Utah to depths between 14,000 and 15,000 feet. The rig went two years without an incident as well as being Bill Barrett Corporations top producing rig. As driller on rig 313 I earned numerous commendations for my achievements.
