About Robert Sang
I am an active researcher in experimental quantum physics science. I have two research themes; the first is ultrafast laser science and applications to atomic physics where we study the dynamics of atoms and molecules at the time scale of attoseconds (0.000000000000000001 sec). The second research theme is the laser cooling and trapping of atoms to investigate the fundamental physics of the collisions of atoms. I have won > $5M in competitive research grant funding, > 100 journal, book chapters and conference publications and 20 HDR completions.I have significant teaching experience having conceived and developed curriculums for Science degrees and directly taught physics classes rating from first year class of > 400 students through all years of undergraduate up to postgraduate level.
