I grew up loving mathematics. I was always attracted to numbers, logic, and the rules everything obeys. That passion for it pursued through college where the appreciation for the underlying philosophy of it matured and gave me a sense of academic fulfillment. Even now when it crops up I can't suppress my piqued interest.Fast forward, I've been in Audio/Video nearly half of my life. You may be wondering how my insatiable love of mathematics ties into with AV. It doesn't. But AV is sort of like that. Much of the skill and knowledge from when I started in 2006 are no longer relevant. I know a lot quickly turns into I knew a lot. LinkedIn says 'You can write about your years of experience, industry, or skills' here. But frankly, if you're an AV veteran mine are the same as yours. We are always learning, innovating, adapting, and solving. We get the job done because the show/meeting/class must go on. We share what we learn so the next poor souls in our industry can thrive.So, if you really want to know what experience I've gained since '06, it's simply that I've got almost 20 years of experience learning and I only have 25ish more years to go. Currently I'm learning how to be funny, it's not going well.I really do genuinely love math and videogames, please talk to me about them.
