Worked with the Los Angeles Department of Water and Power, LADWP, providing network design and configuration for an OC-12 backbone and nineteen OC-3 GE Junglemux subtending rings with 150 plus nodes. Extensive testing and product proving was done during the LADWP pilot phase. In the program phase, Data PTM units, Analog voice units, and SPE modules were tested and deployed. Provided detailed SPE, VT and channel assignment design, documentation, and ongoing configuration of nodes at the factory. In addition, Cisco 2955 series switches configured and installed encompassing an end-end primary Ethernet SCADA Energy Control WAN. Design and implementation of redundant communication paths for the LADWP Energy Control Center SCADA systems. Worked with Convergent Group of Colorado, performed process development for full-scale production of SCADA over Ethernet solutions.

Performed pre-sales and post sales design and integration of client’s infrastructures with Inflow’s product suite for enterprise and marquee customers. Most solutions require customization of the product set, which includes multi-homed, HA, Cisco Powered Network, Internet offering using BGP4. Provisioning of private line connectivity for management or corporate Internet access. Redundant local server load balancing on the Alteon 180e platform. Managed Firewall/Security offering based on the Nokia IP series hardware with Checkpoint FW-1. Fibre Channel SAN storage offering using EMC Clarion and Symmetrix hardware, Veritas software, and brocade switches. Included in the storage offering is a StorageTek based tape back-up solution.
