Architectural Project Lead | Senior Facility DesignerWalt Disney Imagineering Via Cottan Fontana Architects Jun 2015 - Aug 2021Glendale, California, UsProject Lead-Project Architect on new developments for Anaheim California and Orlando Florida LocationsKEY ACCOMPLISHMENTS:• From 2015 – 2016, Remodel of the existing Frontierland – Rivers of America, to make way for the new Star Wars attraction Galaxy’s Edge located in Disneyland Anaheim California. Oversaw the development of the contract documents from Blue-sky/Concept through Permit Acquisition and successfully coordinated efforts with over 30 separate disciplines. Managed a core architectural team of 4 where we developed 5 new facilities. Worked on a team for the development of the overall Project Manual. • From 2016 – 2017, Guardians of the Galaxy E-ticket Ride-Show attraction located in Orlando Florida. Oversaw the development of a 210,769 sq. ft. 138 feet tall dark-ride and show facility from Blue-sky/Concept through Design Development and turnover to the local architectural group. Worked closely with the Creative Leads and Cost Estimation to maintain design intent while staying within budget constraints. Managed a team of 3 architects and coordinated turnover to the local architectural group with multiple trips until final release. Project is currently in construction.• From 2017 – Present, Currently working on Pixar Pier, a Land within Disneyland California Adventure in Anaheim California from Blue-sky/Concept through Permit Acquisition and Constriction Administration via 3 phases and 5 separate packages all with an accelerated project schedule including construction.Successfully developed and produced the accelerated overall project schedule at Walt Disney Imagineering’s request. With less than half the average time we would normally have to do the coordination and development with over 35 disciplines my team of 4 architects have successfully completed all phases. -

E-ticket ride attraction the River Rafts from Concept Design through Schematic Design.Requested by Walt Disney Imagineering to architecturally lead the project and manage a team of 5 architects on 9 separate facilities. During the initial phases of development, I worked closely with the creative leads to resolved critical design and egress conflicts. Upon successfully reaching the 100% Schematic Design milestone I was asked to take on a new project that was Greenlit late into the overall design schedule for the park.• From 2012 – 2013, Architectural Lead on a 31,800 sq. ft. E-ticket ride show attraction Soaring Over the Horizon in Adventure Isle Shanghai, China from Concept Design to final release. Developed the project schedule and successfully managed a team of 6 architects while coordinating the design development with the creative leads and project management to bring it back within budget. Successfully managed this project back into sync with the overall design schedule for the park and was the first to order its steel as well as being one of the first to erect steel on site. Final turnover was coordinated with the local architects in Shanghai China via overseas trips.• From 2013 – 2014, Remodeled and upgraded an E-ticket Ride Show attraction Soarin’ Over California in Disneyland California Adventure Anaheim California from Concept Design to Permit Acquisition. Managed and developed the construction documentation for the digital conversion of the existing projection system. By working closely with multiple disciplines, I redesigned the projection rooms and singlehandedly developed the architectural package including the project manual. Oversaw the coordinated efforts with all the other disciplines to produce the permit package. -

Subsequently hired to provide Design and Construction Administration services for the interiors of the facility. Commissioned to design artist bas-reliefs installations for the main lobby elevator door and cab walls as well as designed all the ornament ironwork for the exterior of the facility.• From 2009 – 2011, Hired by Property owner Larry Joshua to design and remodeled the Joshua residence from Concept Design through Construction Administration. • From 2010 – 2011, Hired to complete and redesign a private residential community entrance marquee and gateway in the West Lake Village from Concept Design through Construction Administration.
