Consultant Anaesthetist at Royal Marsden NHS Foundation Trust since 2007 with clinical interests in anaesthesia for adult and paediatric oncology procedures and Total Intravenous Anaesthesia. My non-clinical roles include training (previous College Tutor) and appraisal. I was elected to Association of Anaesthetists Board and Council In 2018 and became Vice President in 2024. I am interested in improving wellbeing of anaesthetists and I am active in developmental mentoring and coaching. I have been lead facilitator on the Association developmental mentoring course (Egan Skilled Helper model) in recent years. I recently completed the ILM5 qualification (Management Futures) in effective coaching and mentoring.
