Bob significantly improved productivity & improved operating technology implementation.In his earlier role as VP, Florida Concrete Products, and overseeing 6 GMs and ~ 800 employees, he had full P&L responsibility and led all Florida concrete and sand operations, doubling the ready-mix volume & and tripling the block production/sales. Developing/executing a focused corporate strategy, he expanded/strengthened the concrete products division --EBITDA results improved 6-fold the 2001 results.Before, as EVP of Aggregates & Concrete at Centex Construction Products & reporting directly to the CEO, Bob oversaw 2 division presidents, ~350 employees, and led all aggregate/concrete operations, growing aggregate sales from 3.4M to 6M tons/year.Earlier, as VP, GM & Operations VP at Southdown, he increased production & profits, and managed the Ready-mixed Concrete operations through a Teamsters’ strike without loss of business.He started his career at Vulcan Materials, served in management positions at American Limestone, and was a director and Chair of several industry boards.Bob earned a Master of Engineering and a BS in Civil Engineering from the University of Tennessee, and is a registered Professional Engineer in 10 states.
