Following the start up of Yorks new flagship site I am now managing a fleet of 180 cars at one of the highest foot-fall and most profitable branches in the North-East.

Promotion to directly managing a fleet of up to 150 vehicles.

Promotion to Management Assistant (MA) having completed Enterprise-Rent-a-Car's award winning graduate training programme.

Undertaking a managerial development position has hugely increased my knowledge and expertise. With experience liaising across large corporate organisations and their fleet requirements, as well as insurance companies, bodyshops and customers directly; communication and negotiation are qualities in which I pride myself upon. Group and regional interconnectivity also proved paramount with regard to fleet management. A strong focus on sales and customer service lead to significant personal developments of pitching and customer satisfaction resulting in acknowledgment from both branch and area managers.

Working with Enterprise, alongside the university careers team delivering talks on post-graduation opportunities. Also acting as a valuable contact for candidates currently going through the Enterprise recruitment process.

Taking responsibilities of representing my centre of higher education on university open and applicant days. The clear delivery of formal talks to applicants of the university as well as providing a more informal side in which I may help address questions and concerns of applicants are roles in which I hold.

Within this fast paced consumer environment I pride myself in my organisation and managerial assets. Taking responsibility of particular areas of the restaurant, I guide my colleagues towards their objective. Time management and people organisation is paramount in this environment and I believe I demonstrate these well within my working role. Communication and interpersonal skills are also key when I take on the responsibility of training new members of the company and restaurant.

Clark's has given me a good experience within the retail sector. Having worked with the company for almost three years now, I have really made the best use of my time in developing professionally. Consistently holding floor control responsibilities I direct my colleagues and delegate workload for the best outcome of the store, given the store conditions. I am a fully qualified children's shoe fitter and therefor am confident in working with both children as well as adults.
