Swoon’s unique business model relies on the rapid design and development of products across a number of categories.As Quality and Compliance Manager I worked closely with designers, buyers, and manufacturers to develop designs, ensure compliance to regulations, set standards, resolve product issues, promote consistency and drive continual improvement.In a period when Swoon significantly grew its supplier base I implemented and initial supplier audit and assessment process to ensure new suppliers could meet CSR, compliance and Quality standards. Activities and Achievements:• Training for designers in compliance and best practice• Reviewing all designs for compliance issues and ease of manufacture. Resolving issues with designers before tendering• Responsible for compliance to regulations of all products.
