2023 has been a fantastic year in a full stack developer role among the highy talented and visionary team at ZTP. This feels like a lucky find after a mid career break indulging my passion for learning having returned to full-time education, undertaking an MSc in Data Science at the University of Nottingham. That was an intense and inspirational 12 months, with huge challenges, rewards, and personal growth, and enabled me to develop strong foundations for Data Science and Machine Learning. Prior to that, I have 26 years of experience as an IT professional in application development and operational support of business-critical supply chain systems for Waitrose, but I prefer to look forwards than back. My intention now is to incoporate continual learning, and where possible unlock the power of actionable data insight through appropriate analysis, transformation and visualisation
