I am currently retired and available as a consultant or advisor. For the first sixteen years in practice, I treated most solid tumors with radiation in combination at times with surgery and chemotherapy. My patients had cancers of the head and neck, breast, lung, esophagus, stomach, pancreas, biliary tree, colon and rectum, and gynecological in nature. I entered patients on clinical trials from national cooperative groups such as ECOG, CALGB, and RTOG as well as industry sponsored trials. I was the principal investigator at our hospital for the RTOG. I was instrumental in getting the radiation oncology department ACR accredited. I treated patients with standard external beam linear based radiotherapy, but also with HDR, LDR, IORT, stereotactic radiosurgery, and radioactive prostate seed implants.I was associated with a large urology group until early 2018. I was the only radiation oncologist treating patients from this group. I primarily saw patients with prostate cancer. A typical daily census was from forty to forty-five such patients. I also treated the occasional patient with bladder cancer, and those unfortunate enough to have developed metastatic disease.
