I served as the Community Development Specialist for the Texas System of Care at the Texas Institute for Excellence in Mental Health at the Center for Social Work Research in the College of Social Work at the University of Texas in Austin. In this role, I lead and coordinated support for local implementation of a system of care framework for children and families for a state wide mental health initiative. I provided strategic consultation and coaching to communities at different stages of system of care readiness, including capacity assessments, strategic planning, governance development, strategic partnership facilitation and follow-up implementation.
