As Chief Financial Officer and Chief Operating Officer oversaw the finance department as well as the HVAC, Plumbing, Electrical and Pest Control operations in the Houston, DFW and Austin markets. As CFO, I also gained experience working with private equity partners on both buy and sell side of acquisitions, financing and covenant compliance.

My responsibilities included oversight of Finance department, Customer Service & Dispatch, Warehouse and Safety. I was also responsible for managing banking and insurance relations. In July of 2007 Church was recapitalized with the purchase of a majority share of the equity by a private equity fund. I was responsible for and provided 90% of the due diligence requested as part of the recapitalization as well as participating in private equity and bank presentations.

Owned and operated a local air conditioning and heating company servicing residential and commercial accounts. In January 1996 merged this company with Church Services.

In January 1989 I went to work for Houston Fire & Safety/Texas Fire & Safety as a staff accountant. In July of the same year the companies were sold to FireMaster, a national fire protection company. My last position was accounting manager over the Houston, Dallas, and San Antonio markets.
