Bob Shows is President of The Solutions Group (dba of Venastate, Inc), an IT Marketing Company representing a select, diverse portfolio of best-of-breed Small Businesses spanning the IT spectrum of Enterprise Systems, Human Performance, Education & Training, Logistics, Software as a Service (SaaS), Space & Cyberspace Systems. The Solutions Group provides customer-focused marketing and business development services to Companies interested in growing business across the DOD IT domain. Mr. Shows is proven leader with more than 36 years of mid-level to executive level experience in marketing, management, leadership, and organizational development. Previously held several senior executive positions within Northrop Grumman as Director of USAF Account Team, Executive Account Manager to AETC, AFMC, AFSPC and AFRL. Mr. Shows also served as Division Manager in the Information Technology Sector overseeing multiple key programs including Support to Wargaming and Doctrine Education; along with, support to the Counter Proliferation Center at Maxwell AFB, AL. Prior to joining Northrop Grumman, Mr. Shows served as an officer with the USAF for 26 years . He was a command pilot, a member of the initial cadre F-15 community, F-15 demonstration pilot and F-15 squadron commander. Additionally, he held close ties with the AF Space Command, delivering an operational perspective during its formulation phase.He holds an Airline Transport Pilot aeronautical rating and now flies his twin engine airplane on business travel to maintain skills and currency; as well as, serving as a commercial pilot for a small corporation flying both a business jet and high performance cabin-class twin engine airplane.
