Effectively communicated issues with project management, devised a plan of action, and returned to full operational accessibility. Key achievement; reduced tether termination repair braiding from 12 hours to 5 hours. This was a critical reliability and maintenance issue affecting the 74M availability and reliability.Aerostat Support Equipment Design EngineerDesigned aerostat folding bar mechanism for repeated pleating of the deflated aerostat into a shipping container. Specified rolling tube, flanges, weld points, bearings, and attach points. This design would decrease the time taken to fold an aerostat properly.Designed intermediate assembly flanges to allow the coupling of the radar rack to the aerostat during inflation.
