On June 18, 2014, I began my role as Production Manager/Supervisor at Abcon Products, where I oversee the scheduling and production of packaging materials for blueberry, raspberry, and strawberry harvesting. I have introduced new ideas and cost-saving measures, such as daily labor hour calculations and record-keeping for production and profitability. Implementing the 5S system has helped reduce waste and improve productivity by maintaining an organized workspace and using visual cues for consistent operational results. In my role, I prioritize clear communication, assertiveness, and building relationships with employees to increase production efficiency. As Production Manager, I have faced challenges such as managing industrial manufacturing, restructuring standards with innovative ideas, overseeing Cal OSHA Title 8 compliance, leading the Human Resources and Quality Control departments, and expanding operations to Guadalajara, Mexicali, and Salinas, California.
