A primary responsibility of this position is to facilitate and manage the Line MechanicApprenticeship Program for employees in CSO (Electric Operations) at We Energies.This position will also be the primary trainer/SME for our Transition to Trainer Programfor all We Energies CSO employees whose occupations (Designer, Line Mechanic)require the certification. The position will assist leadership and the Safety Departmentas an expert technical resource in more complex significant incident investigations.• Owner of Line Mechanic Apprenticeship Program, testing progressions, and LeadCertification testing for all Line Mechanic Apprentices at We Energies. Responsiblefor the designs, development and delivery of more complex educational programs andmaterials.• Owner of Electric Operations Transition to Trainer program, i.e. overhead (LineElectrician/Mechanic) and Designers. Responsible for the designs, development anddelivery of more complex educational programs and materials.• Responsible for developing and monitoring progression exams and performancemeasures for workers in electric line, underground and other electric related work toensure quality and safety standards/regulations are met and/or exceeded.• Responsible for Electric Operations Work Methods/Procedures development,editing and publication to align with regulations, safety and operational needs andindustry standards and procedures, i.e. Protective Grounding Procedure.• Leads safety/operations meetings to coordinate training, reference and workpractices content. Conducts job site evaluations and establishes field presence.Assists leadership and Safety Department as an expert technical resource in morecomplex apparent cause/significant incident investigations.• Assists with storm restoration efforts company-wide as well as be included in therotation for Electric Operations Duty Supervisor.Education
