I relieved as Assistant Driller on several High temperature, High Pressure wells including the redrilling and work over of PTTEP's Montara H1 ST1 well. Operated NOV hydraulic Bridge racking arm and Nov Hydratongs.

Onshore 4250m triple, trained and organized inexperienced crew with safe operating procedures and witnessed them grow into an efficient team that fostered ongoing training and teaching between crew members. Zero lost time incidents for entire campaign despite difficult start up.

Temporary relief Hitches. Onboard the Ocean General I managed Malaysian Drill Crew and trained incoming Vietnamese crew who had just arrived before the rig headed to Vietnam to start new campaign. After second four week hitch, my Father passed away so I headed home to Canada to be with family. When I returned I accept a temporary position onboard the Ocean Shield as a shaker hand and remained on the rig until another rig, The Ocean Bounty, left Australian waters and my position was given to permanent employee from that rig.

Maersk Nan Hai 6 Semi-submersible. Assisted in Pump room on 3x Continental Emsco FB-1600 triplex mud pumps with centrifugal riser booster systems. Rig Floor equipment was Varco TDS-3 and Varco dual hydraulic racking arms (2 operators).
