I am an educator, teacher, leader, and program director currently with a Master of Teaching degree at the University of Toronto. As a Director and teacher at YMM Art Space, I have taught students aged 3 through adulthood and have also taught subjects including art, math, and English in middle school settings. With an ability to connect to students of all backgrounds and deliver differentiated lessons that suit various learning styles and needs, I take an innovative, culturally relevant, and values-driven approach to my instruction. Driven by a mission to deliver exceptional educational opportunities and outcomes to students of all ages, I have experience building curriculums, training staff, leading teams, developing programs, and overseeing technological integration and transitions at the organizational level. As a community-oriented professional, I have developed initiatives that connect with individuals locally and encourage a celebration of creativity and the arts. My work and writing have been featured in The Early Childhood Art Education Research Journal, and in my personal art practice, I have shown in exhibitions around the world.
