Assessment on the use of and performance of the MSF ERP system (UniField) for MSF in emergencies using the Rohingya Emergency Response as a case study (in real time). The main output from the consultancy was a design for an SCM systems environment for emergencies incorporating ERP and non-ERP solutions for distinct phases of an emergency. Mission-specific systems were similarly developed for the MSF Bangladesh mission.

I initiated four medical supply projects for the MSF movement and provided business cases for second phase implementation of the projects. The four projects developed ready for implementation were for a forecast support tool and forecast algorithms, medical consumption data collection system, pharmacy management system and medical assortment management system.

Position was to develop, introduce, implement and continuously improve the supply and logistics management processes. Projects included the design, development and implementation of the MSF-OCA logistics performance monitoring system, compliance checklists (Local Purchase Checklist, Storage Conditions Checklist), Supply Handbook, Supply Guideline, forecasting and ordering tools and the design of MSF supply chain SOPs.
