Worked as part of a maintenance team, biased towards electrical, three and single phase. Charged with looking after leisure centre plant, which included, ice rink plant ( large 1 ton fridge charge direct system ), swimming pool plant ( water treatment ), AHUs, emergency lighting systems, in fact anything electrical within the leisure centre. Also acted as a peripatetic technician, on call to satellite centre within the borough.Other duties included carrying out ice cuts ( maintaining the quality of ice on the ice rink pad ).

Worked in Avionics bay, electrical section. Carried out repairs, testing and overhauls on a variety of equipment used by the Lockheed Martin C130K Hercules aircraft.This included, loading bay winches, cabin pressure controllers, main and aux generators, power supplies, inverters, engine temp indicators, altimeters, to name but a few.Required to use the RAF / MOD documentation system, later replaced by IBM's LITS system.
