Wide and varied working with some of the greatest, smartest and funniest people I've ever known in 24 yrs at GE as well as some the most evil, scheming, bum licking, backstabbing people I've ever met. I learnt a lot. They were the most formative years of my life.Chemical Industry, Automotive Industry, Polymer Industry, Supply industries, consulting to local authorities and interim management and executive coaching and mentoring especially on the do's and dont's of the commercial world. I spent about 13 yrs volunteering at the Prince's Trust which was personally rewarding, if somewhat frustrating toward the end. My lifelong interest in science and technology has not abated, it still occupies a big part of my spare time. Currently actively travelling to all the places in the world we've not yet visited, as well as revisiting many places we've been before and seeing old friends and colleagues. A 2015 house move (a whole 5 miles!) has been hugely successful. Smaller property and garden, lovely village, very sociable community, close to the sea. 2020 update: Covid19 and lockdown/open up has been interesting. Wings clipped on travel. Thoroughly enjoyed Lockdown, it suited us, we loved it. Stopping going to the Gym (3/wk?) gave me back my life! What a stupid habit. Never going back. Having too much fun.2023. Plodding on. 75 this year. Creaks and groans, but I still think I'm 'with it', but who am I to judge! Still lots of excitement in my life., Kids getting married.. Finally. Keeping very busy and travelling..... Enough.
