Fit pipe according to Isometric Prints. Cut, grind and prep pipe used hand and electric tool. Weld maps the welder’s stencil. Located and used heat codes on pipes and fittings to request M.T.R.'s from company or venders that the products were bought from. Use years of experience to troubleshoot problems as they arise and came up with quick/efficient way to deal with them. Walked through jobs and recognized the entire hazard with the client to insure the accuracy/safety of the job site. Write JSA to identify the steps to do the job. Identify all foreseeable hazards on the job and the steps taken to mitigate the hazards on the job. Permits were handled as a team effort to insure all safety objectives were met before start of the job. Ensured all safety precautions were met and identified hazards before they arise as work ensued. Permitting system included Safe work, hot work, Confined Space entry, and hot Taps, Excavation and Inert entry. As safety lead; perform as a Pipefitter, Boilermaker and Equipment Operator. Interpret isometric drawing, PNID drawing and readied for construction packages. Field verified all ISO drawings to make accurate cuts of pipe so the fit would be dead on. Worked hand and hand with welders to ensure the use of hand and power tools to fit and weld pipe with precession. Operate Drotts(9k), Gallions, forklifts, lull, Cherry pickers, Back hoes and Extended Booms, torque and tension machines, hydrostatic pumps, RAD torque guns, plasma cutting machines and mag Drills.
