Control Self-Monitoring (Audit) Manager
CurrentAs the CSM manager I have the responsibility to ensure the business goals and objectives are met. The Control Self-Monitoring (CSM) process is a framework used by the management team and myself to evaluate the effectiveness of the company’s internal controls. My responsibility in the CSM process is to improve the overall controls at my location while also staying abreast of areas that are reviewed on a regular basis by Internal Audit (IA), International Organization for Standardization (ISO), Legal, Safety, Security and other organizations. Not only do I develop processes for control, I am also responsible for planning, organizing, delegating, reviewing, analyzing and interpreting information, self-auditing, creating of action plans and following up for the controls that are put in place. Besides processes I am directly responsible for break compliance, cash handling, communication and document control, fuel administration, hours of service, OFCCP-HR-EEO, payroll administration, revenue protection, timecards and vehicle safety. In addition to these responsibilities I act as senior manager in his absence with district reporting and follow up in areas of station performance and service levels.
