Amec- Fw /Worley Parsons October 2017 – October 2018Senior Material Controller - BP Clair Ridge Aberdeen▪ Part of a project management team delivering a new Hook up and commission of two new Clair Ridge platforms BP are installing west of the Shetland Islands.▪ Supporting construction and installation of the two new bridge-linked platforms, which will include new production, accommodation and drilling facilities, and new subsea pipelines tied into the existing export systems.▪ £4.5-billion ($6.8-billion) project is designed to access 640 MMbbl of recoverable oil, delivering up to 120,000 b/d at peak, and extending the Clair field’s life to 2050.

Material/Stores Manager – CTRL Kent Ashford. Ctrl was the first major new high speed railway to be constructed in the UK for over a century and one of largest engineering project to be undertaking.Responsibilities were as Material/Stores Manager on the £500m project implementing and delivering a material procedure and strategy from the recruiting of personnel (60 staff at a peak) to the logistics of the materials being delivered and loaded out this included the delivery and receipt of a total value of materials of £100m. Was also responsible for the procurement and reporting for the M&E and Civil’s material for the project.Purchasing Manager – West Coast Main Line Manchester. Tasked With establishing, developing and managing an all-encompassing procurement team on behalf of AMEC Spie for £120m West Coast Route Modification Project. Worked as Procurement Manager controlling AMEC’s purchasing interests; the role involved controlling all procurement activities and budgets at all stages, developing the supply chain for both AMEC and Network Rail and ensuring the procurement/stores teams are appropriately organised, resourced and directed to meet the requirements of the departments for reporting to the client and the AMEC Board.
