During my second co-op opportunity with Entergy, I was provided bigger projects to manage and also enhanced my programming capabilities of the control units in the field. With the previous knowledge gained from the first co-op, coming back for a second term allowed me to build on the knowledge i had already gained and dive deeper into how the process operates and also assist in storm restoration efforts by traveling out of the area and diagnosing problems caused from storms.

I was provided the opportunity to co-op with Entergy the Fall semester of 2018 into 2019. During this semester of the co-op, I was able to learn and understand how the distribution side of the power industry provided power to commercial and residential customers. I was also placed in charge of designing effective layouts to provide electricity to our customers. This opportunity also allowed me to further develop my communication skills by communicating what needed to be implemented in the field to construction and also communicating to the customers how the power would be delivered and working with them to determine the best route.
