I went to Guam to the Proteus. Completing my tour here as the a machinery repairman and machinist. I worked in the repair division of the shop fixing and maintaining our machines. I have also spent some time in the engraving shop and learned a little about being a locksmith. I then moved on the Construction Battalions. I was a Work Center Supervisor in the machine shop. Normal work days consisted of machining, pump and motor repair, and welding.
