Responsible for successful completion of all contract functions, duties and responsibilities and all staff (120) to meet Department of Homeland Security contracting requirements and student expectations on nine buildings with 1224 rooms. . I maintain in-depth knowledge of all contract specifications including quality control inspection methods and techniques. In 6.5 years has never had a negative quality control report from the government or Adelante inspection staff. Oversees all operations to ensure deadlines are met, required paperwork is complete and accurate, inventories equipment and monitors a $200,000 supply budget. I ensure compliance within the operating budget for the contract, approve expenditures within set guidelines: tracks departmental revenues through invoicing and reports; ensures all contract work has been billed. Provides general service management which includes intake, education (services available and application procedures) and referral of residents to service providers in the general community. These social services may include meals-on-wheels, transportation, home health aides, homemakers, financial assistance, counseling, preventative health screening, and other needed services. Develops a Resource Directory that may include a listing of state and/or local service providers that residents can contact for assistance (e.g. services to family’s, children, individuals who are elderly, persons with disabilities, emergency assistance). In many cases, Sponsors educational events which may include subject relating to health care, agency support, life skills, referral sources, etc. Monitors the ongoing provision of services from community agencies and keeps the case management and provider agency current with the progress of the individual. Manages the provision of supportive services where appropriate.

Advises the commander on a wide range of topics including the health, esprit de crops, discipline, mentoring, well being, career progression, professional development, and recognition of all assigned enlisted members. Assists the commander in preparation and execution of unit training and information programs (e.g. commander's call). Supervises administrative actions directed by the commander. Performs quality force review and ensures timely processing of performances reports, awards, decorations, favorable communications, promotions, demotions, classification actions, quality control actions, and disciplinary actions.I am knowledgeable in the use of Microsoft Excel, Word, Access, PowerPoint.
