DLR Rolling Stock Replacement Programme:Southern Sidings and MFB Fit Out.Bank Station Capacity Upgrade:Third Parties Package Manager – circa £4 Million.o Responsible for all third-party installations (radio, autophones, gatelines, ticket machines, IM infrastructure, advertising etc). Managed through scope development, placing contracts, implementation (incl. change management), through to commissioning.o Took personal responsibility for ensuring delivery within the programme windows provided by the Principal Contractor to avoid prelim costs.o Developed a ‘Construction Pack’ summarising the PC’s HSE policies to ensure TfL Third Parties were complaint with site specific rules.o Rationalised the IM scope to achieve circa £200k saving and worked collaboratively with other projects to place a bulk gateline order resulting in a saving of circa £250k.• L&E Package Manager – circa £10 Milliono Installation of 12 escalators, 2 moving walkways and 2 lifts.o Implemented a process for using virtual factory inspections resulting in a saving of circa £40k.• DLR Enabling Works Package Manager – circa £4 Milliono Responsible for civil and MEP enabling works to facilitate the installation of a new escalator barrel into the DLR central concourse.o Ensured the DLR central concourse was closed one month ahead of schedule. This required close collaboration between the Contractor, DLR and their franchisee (KAD). Great stakeholder management and operational interface experience to add to my delivery skills.• Demolition and Site Readiness Package Manager – Circa £7 Milliono Demolition of a block of buildings in the City of London to allow for the construction of the new station ticket hall for the BSCU.o I ensured the Contractor always adhered to the City of London’s strict code of construction practice thereby minimising environmental impacts and avoiding complaints from influential stakeholders.

Assistant Project ManagerWorking on a design project for a major station upgrade I was responsible for ensuring the timely delivery of RIBA Stage C and D deliverables from the Principal Designer and subsequent acceptance by client engineers.• Assisted drafting the Contract Works Information for the main Design and Construct contract of a large station upgrade project. Developed an obligations register recording the requirements on all parties to the contract.• Project managed the provision of a new access route to the Dowgate fire station in the City of London for the Bank SCU project. This included installation of CCTV apparatus, removal / relocation of street furniture and the installation of a new concrete slab.• Project managed the installation of a new road layout to King William Street in the City of London to enable the provision of service bays to the Bank SCU site at Arthur Street and neighbouring refurbishment projects. This included the removal of a traffic island, relocation of CCTV and resurfacing of the road.• Secondment to the Principal Contractor, Dragados, to package manage their tunnelling, squareworks and cat III check design sub-contracts. This included ensuring alignment between different contractors’ programmes, leading progress reviews and assessing compensation events.

Completed the Project Management Graduate training scheme at TfL, which involved passing both the APM IC and APMP.Completed various work placements on projects throughout the project Lifecycle. Gained experience of the construction and handover phases on a new train crew accommodation project at Brixton and managed the snagging process with the Contractor. I worked on projects during the concept and detailed design phases within the Station Capacity Programme. I gained progress reporting and data analysis experience at the Victoria Line Upgrade. Operational placements at the Stratford group of stations gave me first hand knowledge of the day-to-day running of a station and the interface between operations and projects as the station was being upgraded in preparation for the Olympics during this time.
