I have experience predominantly in the microbiology/biochemistry side of anaerobic digestion of organic waste. However, now I am currently working in the electrooxidation space of water treatment. I have a natural inclination towards research and development and am currently a process engineer of a medium sized company - meaning I am a design engineer, project manager, development scientist, commissioning engineer all rolled into one.I am particularly interested in bio-refining, bio-energy, and water treatment.Specialities: Research skills, critical analysis, product development, risk assessment, data analysis and presentation, report writing, communications, plant design, optimisation

Soon to be in R.• Maintain, improve and establish procedures for laboratory and power plant sampling, analysis and operations. • Assisting the lab. tech. • Manage the running of laboratory to maintain and improve standards of analysis, reporting and general organisation. • Analysis of potential new waste as to whether or not they are acceptable for anaerobic digestion. . • I carry out self- and/or management directed R&D projects. These projects vary from feasibility to design to process calculations. Typical skills employed are mass/energy balances, stoichiometry, calculus, algebra, Auto CAD.Work on these projects is fascinating and outside the normal routine.
