Supervises a small team that monitors and addresses water quality and environmental issues in the Cypress Basin. Work with local, state, federal agencies as well as NGOs, non profits and other concerned stakeholders in a wide range of topics including Threatened and Endangered Species and Invasive Species. Act as the Watershed Coordinator for the Lake O' the Pines TMDL, and the Caddo Lake Watershed Protection Plan. Serve as Project Manager for the TCEQ Clean Rivers Program for the Cypress Basin. Chairman of a basin specific working group for the Northeast Texas Conservation Delivery Network(NETCDN) of the Lower Mississippi Valley Joint Venture (LMJV) to facilitate conservation projects on public and private lands. Currently serves on the State Board of Directors of the Texas Invasive Plant and Pest Council (TIPPC). I serve as Team Lead to facilitate permitting, inspection, and complaint investigations for onsite septic facilities (OSSF) in 4 counties, Marion, Cass, Morris and Upshur.
