Computer Systems Analyst - Information Security
CurrentKey member of the Cybersecurity Team taking care of overall information security for the City of Cincinnati and its various departments and environments. Lead Office 365 administrator. Take care of the day to day administrative tasks, training other administrators on these tasks and giving least privilege access to new administrators. Perform many security and compliance tasks hardening the Microsoft 365 environment as well as responding to potential threats.Phishing and Malware investigations including possible ingress, users and/or systems effected, as well as reverse engineering to determine any IOCs that could be used in threat hunting as well as ensure the environment is as secure as possible.SSO integration with multiple cloud applications and working with various departments to accomplish these implementations.Log review for Nessus scans, Symantec reports, Office 365 security alerts, SolarWinds SEM logs, Azure Active Directory risky sign-ins, Infosec Simulated Phishing logs and user submitted emails, and iBoss Cloud Proxy logs.Effective delegation of tasks and projects to other team members to meet project target dates.Implementation of Rapid7 IDR across the City of Cincinnati's environment, and continued monitoring of information reported.Myriad of troubleshooting projects throughout the day regarding various systems and environments ensuring security as well as operability.
