I accepted the role and moved from GE Energy to GE Capital. In my new role, I helped manage the existing portfolio of financial assets that were acquired in the deal, but focused the majority of my effort on building business processes to enable a start up technology leasing company to remain flexible and customer focused under the umbrella of a large and successful new owner, GE Capital. I was responsible for a small finance team that managed all aspects of financial planning and reporting, implementation of a new accounting software, accounting close activities, and overall controllership and compliance.
