My role was to research and implement innovative and novel scientific methods that will best enhance the athletes performance. I set up In Pursuit along side a friend and fellow coach competing at a National Level to combine our coaching skills and knowledge of racing and competing to be able to offer athletes a complete package of support. Specialising in track specific coaching we ran practical sessions on a weekly basis at York Sport Velodrome as well as running training camps and prescribing one to one bespoke training plans incorporating physiology, nutrition and strength and conditioning.

I have also worked on a combined project assessing a sociological constraint within sport, this involved conducting academic interviews which I then used to produce a report for the strand I was responsible for and then presented back to the commissioning body.
