Prepared briefs on city and state government agencies and issues facing the city and the council district; researched and wrote answers for endorsement questionnaires from many labor unions, political action committees, Democratic clubs, and special interest groups; advised the candidate on policy; did ad hoc research and prepared the candidate for debates and fora; provided internal financial controls, assisting the Campaign Treasurer by double-checking data entries with the New York City Campaign Finance Board before each filing to ensure appropriate documentation of contributions and expenditures; reached out to voters via phone banks throughout the campaign, and canvassed voters in the field during early voting and on Election Day.
