He has been involved in a range of projects, with responsibilities ranging from lead architect and visualiser through to BIM co-ordinator. Robert has experience across a wide range of sectors designing buildings with a people-focused, civic and social purpose. He has particular expertise in how mixed use developments can act as a catalyst for the regeneration of urban sites, with specific interest in the potential of professional and community sports facilities to generate further development. As a student he won the Hegarty Award for Design Innovation and his passion for the use of technology within the construction industry has led him to become technology and BIM manager at his previous practice. Robert has an excellent understanding of software packages such as AutoCAD, Revit, 3D Studio Max, Rhino, SketchUp that he uses on a regular basis in order to get the most from his creative ideas.Major projects Robert has worked on include;Beaumont School, St Albans - Project Architect responsible for the delivery of a new 4 court sports hall, fitness suite and associated changing facilities together with much needed additional 11 classrooms of teaching space and a visitor’s entrance and car park to the school. Due for completion September 2016.Before Designcubed Robert worked over nine years for the commercial design practice, Dyer. Key relevant projects include:West Kent College Campus 21 - Architect working in a team responsible for 23,000sqm new build campus for West Kent College, Tonbridge.
