I worked as a mobile maintenance technician for Onni International for three months. During that time, I performed various jobs for the property managers, including plumbing and electrical work, painting, drywall, repairs, etc. The job was ultimately deemed redundant, but I very much enjoyed the challenges, variety and scope of work that presented itself as I moved around in their portfolio of commercial properties from North Van to Pitt Meadows and beyond.

I worked as a Sales specialist at Rona in North Vancouver, as an expert in the plumbing department. I really enjoyed this customer service position.

I worked for the Century Plaza Hotel in the maintenance department. The job was fast and furious! Had to think on my feet constantly to problem solve and find creative, effective solutions to various issues that arose. I developed my strong ability in plumbing and electrical work even further, often saving the hotel a call to contractors. I did construction, renovation, repair, appliance repair, furniture repair, drywall, lighting, flooring, painting, cleaning, pool maintenance, HVAC, steam fitting, gas fitting, plumbing and electrical work. Became quite a jack of all trades, and LOVED the fast pace and ability to use my own discretion to find the most cost effective, safe and pleasing solutions to difficult challenges. Worked with a great team, and enjoyed working independently also.

I worked as a self employed musician for many years in Vancouver and across Canada. I was successful in my field, and I'm still open to do some work in it. However, since my children were born, I've found it important to be home more than before, and I've needed to change my vector to support my family, as the music industry is too unpredicable, both financially and schedule wise! I love it still, as it feeds my heart, but it doesn't feed my kids ;)
