Program Specialist, Quality Management Service
CurrentProvides administrative and clerical support to the Quality Management Program including:* Independently initiate, investigate and process small claims up to $2500.* Track patient safety alerts and advisories.* Serves on Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and Health Care Failure and Effects Analysis (HFEMA) team.* Reviews incident reports for completeness and enters data into the SPOT database.* Obtains official documents and maintains training materials and documentation related to Administrative Boards of Investigation.* Uses Microsoft Excel to develop databases, perform statistical analysis, convert data into graphical displays, and to maintain current data.* Maintains Peer Review Database and alert coordinators of impending time lines. * Prepares Patient Safety correspondence that may arise from Patient Safety Program. * Prepares fliers or brochures as needed to assist in implementation of the Patient Safety Goals.
