at STF I manage 3 departments to include 2 teams that directly train other nuclear operators on submarines and aircraft carriers. I also manage and teach officers to become Nuclear Engineers on submarines. While specialized in engineering I am also tactically proficient and assist in evaluating other submarines in deployment preparations to include.

Manage the change in a ships draft in port to prevent sinking a submarine, sometimes reporting to the commodore of multiple submarines. while at sea managing the status of rigging the ship for dive to ensure safe submerge and surfacing evolutions and calculating the exact amount of variable water needed in each compartment to have a level and trimmed.

In charge of all electrical generating equipment and most electrical appliances aboard the submarine. Led a team of sailors in maintaining the boat able to be seaworthy under many unexpected equipment failures.
