As a Sales Director I am responsible for managing, training and sales for the western half of the United States. I work one on one with current and new Regional Sales Managers to assist them in building their book of business and increase sales. I provide training on how to manage their territory, cold calls, and product presentations. The following is a list of what is expected from RSM's and what I manage and train them on. -Search out, establish and develop relationships on behalf of the Company with new clients Procure and close deals on behalf of the Company-Complete and submit all paperwork and/or reports required by the Company, including but not limited to weekly status reports-Complete and record any information about sales activities and/or accounts in the company’s CRM system-Report to your manager regularly, to discuss your presentation of ideas, initiatives and status reports for achieving established goals and objectives-Travel to and attend tradeshows and other Company events throughout the year as required
