Concentrate in the area of insurance fraud law; assisting and advising insurance companies in detecting, deterring, preventing and prosecuting insurance fraud rings formed to exploit NY State and other state No-Fault laws, having successfully represented insurers in scores of affirmative recovery and/or DJ actions, filed in federal and state courts, to recoup money paid to medical clinics and healthcare providers that operated under illegal corporate structures, were fraudulently incorporated, engaged in illegal self-referral and kickback schemes, billed for medical services that were not provided as billed and the performance of unnecessary diagnostic testing and treatment. Provide advisory services and assistance in the development of insurance fraud programs to ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations. Provide clients with coverage opinions and prepare responses to regulatory inquiries and administrative actions. Author and co-author of numerous articles on insurance fraud; presented on a variety of issues before national and regional anti-insurance fraud organizations; participated in insurance fraud workshops, train federal and state law enforcement agencies, insurance claims and investigative personnel and participated in a number of insurance focus groups, roundtable gatherings, blue-ribbon panels and executive meetings.
