My current position at Queensland Police Service within their End User Device Modernisation team has enabled my lifecycle management skillset to grow within a state government agency. This role has showcased my relationships with vendors and partners, co-ordination of technology refresh and technology uplift activities while developing feasibility studies to ensure capital spend met business requirements.My time at Redland City Council as their ICT Asset Manager has enabled me to develop strategies that align with council’s modern desktop implementation and cloud uplift programs. By reducing annual spend over several financial years it has given council opportunity to develop a Windows 11 readiness program and assist with modern workplace activities. My time at Kincoppal Rose Bay School (KRB) has given me experience in the Education space, both with the procurement and ongoing support of onsite technology. Throughout the pandemic, and the lockdowns associated, I supported the students and staff of KRB both onsite and remotely, including the device enrollment and deployment for the school years commencing 2021 and 2022. As the ICT Asset Manager I had the responsibility of managing 1000+ MacOS devices via Jamf MDM. This challenge developed my existing interpersonal and communication skills. It required me to develop more structured procedures around the processes and work instructions needed to engage relevant stakeholders, maintain attention to detail and determine and meet client requirements and timelines. The experiences gained in 2021/2022 enabled me to reduce our IT spending by $500k.
