My business card states that I provide Packaging and Displays, and I do things like packaging, E-comm distribution, crisis management and creative displays offerings. But the one constant thing I sell; our product is the story of our client’s brands. More than a media strategy or PR plan, deeper than a well-turned phrase or a magazine spread designed to within an inch of its life, telling the “Story” is our reason for being, and our escape from those who view companies like TimBar as little more than vendors.I am very fortunate. I work with great clients and people and we get to think up creative stuff for a living. Develop solutions that tell the story of wonderful brands, utilizing shopper insight, behavioral science and a deep commitment to enjoying being the storytellers. Original solutions and ideas that create excitement, become part of the culture, and generate economic value for my clients and ourselves, making us all moderately popular in the process.We as a team develop ways to tell powerful stories that resonate with shoppers, consumers that inspire, motivate, educate, drive sales and build brands. I get to work side-by-side with good, funny, weird, scary-smart people and I get to go home at night and be a good, kind, decent, fun dad and friend because I don’t hate my job with every last fiber of my being. And frankly, that fun part is important. In fact, it is how I’ve been able to sell many of the more courageous, risky ideas here, both to our clients and to my company.
