I used my 20's as an opportunity to explore my aspirations, chase far-fetched dreams, and gain as many experiences and skills as possible. Now I'm ready to solidify my professional career.I was an avid baseball player and loved spending every moment possible on the field as a child. I carried that passion with me, and by the time I was 17, I became the Program Coordinator and was responsible for developing the entire summer program. This experience propelled me into earning a Bachelor of Recreation from Memorial University. I completed a work placement with the City of St. John's as their Tennis Program Coordinator, and assisted as a coach with St. John's Minor Baseball Association's winter programming. I also volunteered my time with various organizations that offered recreation programming to a variety of user groups. After completing the program, I began my career as a sales representative in orthopaedic medical sales with TREC Surgical. The majority of our business came from the Smith & Nephew product lines. I was responsible for servicing all accounts in Newfoundland and spent each day in the operating room being a resource to surgeons during their procedures.Throughout my 4-year tenure in sales, another passion grew in me. I became a DJ and started producing house music. I was doing this as a paid freelance gig and I spent a lot of my free time pursuing this passion. It grew to the point where I co-founded/co-organized Crossroads Music Festival; Gander's first electronic music festival. I combined my recreation and event planning experience with my passion for music to create this event.Towards the end of my tenure in sales, our top account went to tender to a competitor. It was then, I decided I wanted to chase my dream of becoming an electronic music artist. I enrolled in the College of the North Atlantic's Sound Recording & Production Program to enhance my skills, which I completed in April 2022. I furthered my experience as an AV Technician with Canadian AV in St. John's, NL.What you'll see in me is an individual that thrives in a fluid environment where each day poses new challenges. I use my versatility and adaptability to my strength.
